This nationally acclaimed, school-based program serves children and adolescents. Child workshops, and parent and teacher meetings are coordinated to provide a reassuring but realistic view of the skills children need to remain safe.
Children learn what sexual abuse is and how they can empower themselves in high-risk situations. Self-esteem building, identification of “safe” adults, peer support and assertiveness are a few of the skills taught in programs designed to be flexible enough to meet the unique needs of children of varied ages and stages.
