Our front-line community behavioral health staff have responded to the ongoing challenges alongside our community members. New behavioral health needs surface with each disaster. Our community is struggling: losing jobs and/or their homes for the first time; not having enough food; grieving the loss of loved ones due to these disasters and of the lives we all previously had. When disaster happens the entire system moves to meet the needs of our community. Front-line peer and community health workers along with each of us have rolled with and responded to the challenges we face as a community. In this program, we will hear from some of our front-line teams on how we continue to move through the waves that keep on coming. We are honored to bring stories from West County Community Services, Humanidad Education and Therapy Services, Buckelew Programs, Center for Well-Being and National Alliance on Mental Illness. Join us. You will not want to miss these stories.

When: January 21 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
